Public transport
From the NS and bus station Deventer it is only a 3 minute walk to the city centre. The Dickens Festival starts at the NS station. Visitors to the festival are welcomed by Christmas Carol Singers and Dickens actors from the famous books of Charles Dickens.

Shuttle bus service
A shuttle service has been established specifically for the Dickens Festival. The shuttle service, including parking, costs €20. On December 12th and 13th, coming from the A1, follow the signs to a separate, guarded parking lot, which includes bus transportation to the city center. The shuttle buses run from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Parking
In the city centre you can park in the Centrumgarage, among other places. (On Keizer 1, behind HEMA, open 24 hours a day). For more parking spaces around the centre: follow the P-route on the signs. In addition, it is possible to park for free on 12 and 13 December at the Saxion car park, Berkelweg 1.
Additional disabled parking spaces will be set up on the Pothoofd. Please note! The parking lot on the Worp has limited availability. Full = full.

Bicycle sheds
Bicycles can be parked for free and guarded at the NS station. In addition, the free and guarded bicycle parking facilities at Op de Keizer and Lamme van Dieseplein are open from 8.45:17.30 to XNUMX:XNUMX. Additional bicycle racks will also be placed on the Gedempte Gracht and Leeuwenbrug.

Foot ferry (Worp and IJsselhotel)
The ferry operates on December 12 and 13 from 9.00:23.00 AM to XNUMX:XNUMX PM.
