Access & Queue
The Dickens Festival will take place on Saturday, December 12th, and Sunday, December 13th, from 11.00:17.00 AM to 1:000 PM in Walstraat, Golstraat, Damstraat, Roggestraat, Bergstraat, Bergkerkplein, Kerksteeg, Bergschild, and Menstraat. The festival route is one-way. Deventer Christmas Town attracts more than 2 visitors annually. Admission to the Dickens Festival is €6 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office at the beginning of the queue (debit card and cash). Children aged 7 and under are free. However, please be aware that waiting times can be up to two hours.
Access is only possible through the ticket gates on Keizerstraat (near the Schouwburg). Visitors will be directed via Brinkpoortstraat and Keizerstraat to the entrance of the Dickens Festival, where the public will be admitted in groups.

The Dickens Festival is a one-way street, the route is completely continuous.
All other streets surrounding the festival are closed.
